A month long text and audio blog about the creation of 28 new pieces of "art music" in the twenty-eight days of February by composer & conductor Robert Ian Winstin.
Haunting and beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWow - this is, indeed, haunting. Major piece of music.
ReplyDeleteVery impressive. I really was moved by the sounds of the hospital and emergency room. Is he dead at the end? Does the opera end there?

Right on! This may be my favorite of the bunch

You are absolutely right Kim - this is most impressive. Wonderful stuff - although I do miss the piano playing.
ReplyDeletePiano playing tomorrow?

I agree with Kim - this is terrific! I absolutely love the "extra" sounds. I had no idea what you were referring to in your blog when you mentioned them, but, it all makes sense when you hear it together with the music.
ReplyDeleteI really like how it moves the 'story' along nicely. Really sets the stage.
