A month long text and audio blog about the creation of 28 new pieces of "art music" in the twenty-eight days of February by composer & conductor Robert Ian Winstin.
Wow! What terrific piece!
ReplyDeleteI am constantly amazed at your creativity and talent.
Wonderful! Yet again, this may be the best way to start my day. I am really sorry that February is only 28 days!
ReplyDeleteSo, now, I'm going to try and learn to play this one. Not sure if I can get my left hand to do all of that.
Thanks!
Frank
That was pretty good. It's probably my favorite so far. It has a kind of jazz, funk, and gospel overtone combined into one. I would love to see it developed into a complete work.
ReplyDeleteYeah, baby! Are you sure you are a classical cat? You sound awfully jazzy to be un-hip!

Very cool and a lot of fun. I'll never play it 'cause I can't play like that, but I'll be listening up a storm.

Hey! Thanks a bunch for the nice comments. I'm having a great time with this blog and I am glad that there are people out there listening. Thanks again!
ReplyDeleteTomorrow is a bit of a change in pace. I'm re-recording and restructuring one of my operas.
I'll be uploading a baritone aria from that opera. But - have no fear - it's in English!
